These teaser flies are tied in "custom colors" to match many of my plugs. The Deceiver pattern was chosen for its popularity and effectiveness on salt water game fish. All are tied locally on 3/0 and 4/0 Mustad salt water hooks, and like our plugs, a high quality epoxy is used to finish the head giving a "live" look to the fly. They are great used as a teaser in conjunction with a swimmer or a popper to increase your odds in the surf. Also can be used with needlefish or just about any plug type. May affect the action of some Danny type swimmers, but adverse effects on plug action are negligable.

Reminder: To keep your valuable plugs in their best possible condition, always remember to rinse with fresh water after use, particularly when exposed to salt water. This also keeps the hooks sharp and prevents oxidation.
